Call Analyst · Design Doc
The screen a fully set-up user sees when their calls list is empty / the home view loads (notetaker connected or API keys in, including bring-your-own-key). Distinct from the first-run intro, which is about connecting. This says: you're set up, here's where to go. Each mock reuses the live app's dark palette, Inter / JetBrains Mono type, accent blue, and brandmark bars. Mockup only — not wired into the app.
A calm, focused landing: a big personal greeting, one prominent search field as the hero action, and the rest of the app one tap away as quiet chips below. Shines when search is the primary thing returning users do — find that call from last week. Feels like the front door of a search-first product.
No call selected. Search your history, or jump back in.
A scannable launcher: every destination is a tappable card — Search, Projects, Settings, Notetaker status — with a live stat baked in. Shines for power users who treat the home as a control center and want everything visible at a glance, no hunting. Reads as "your workspace."
Pick up where you left off.
Keyboard-first. The whole home is one spotlight: "Search or jump to…", with the destinations listed as command rows below and shortcut keys. Shines for fast, repeat-daily users — type two letters, hit enter, you're there. The most minimal, "I live in this app" direction.
App-shell shape. A persistent left nav (Calls / Projects / Settings) plus a warm welcome panel with recent activity. Shines when the home should also teach the app's structure — the sidebar is always there, so the empty state doubles as navigation. Most "real product" of the five; closest to a desktop app.
Your notetaker is connected and waiting. Search a past call, or open the Projects Hub to keep a deal moving.
Friendly and human. A pulsing notetaker orb signals "I'm live and listening," with an ask-anything bar and quick suggestion chips that lead into search, projects, and settings. Shines for new-ish but set-up users — it reassures (the notetaker is working) and invites a first action conversationally rather than presenting a menu. Warmest of the five.
Nothing playing right now. Ask about a past call, or pick a quick action below.
